Is it ok in the state of florida to fire someone who hired a attorney to handle a workers comp case?
I was injured at work.
I am currently awaiting workers comp.
I went to pick up my check and i was told I was fired because I hired a attorney to handle my workers comp case.
Is that legal and will i still be able to get my workers comp?
I am currently unable to perform at my best because my back is killing me. I cant even sit down without having pain?
What should i do?

i think you should ask your attorney.
i don’t think it is legal to do what your employer did, but your attorney is best qualified to help you in this situation.
