What should I expect from a NYS Workers Comp Conciliation hearing?
I have received a letter from the NYS workers comp board from a conciliator to make a proposal for my case to the insurance company and my attorney and myself.
I am just waiting for a letter of proposal to resolve the case as what is mentioned in the letter I had received.
Does this seem to be a final step in this process or could it take longer?
I have been waiting just about seven months now.

Well, if everyone agrees, it can be the final step, but if they don’t, it can take longer.
These things can drag out for YEARS.
